Sitges Film Festival 2026: Tickets, Venues, What to Bring

The 59th Sitges Film Festival runs 8 to 18 October 2026, bringing fantasy, horror and sci-fi cinema over eleven days. This guide covers the practical side: tickets, venues, opening and closing films, and what to bring.

Dates and opening and closing films

• Opening: Found Alive, Carlota Pereda's new film starring Chloë Grace Moretz.
• Closing: Wicker, by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, with Olivia Colman and Alexander Skarsgård.
• Sections: Official Fantàstic Selection, Noves Visions, Midnight X-treme, Anima't, Brigadoon and Òrbita, plus the Méliès d'Or awards.

Tickets

Single tickets go on sale on 29 September at 12:00 (pre-sale for pass holders was the day before). Passes and packs were sold until 17 September or while stock lasted. Always buy on the official festival website to avoid resellers.

Venues

Screenings are spread across town: Auditori Melià Sitges, Sala Tramuntana, Cinema Prado, Escorxador – Centre Cultural and Sala Llevant, among others. Everything is walkable, but plan the time between sessions.

What to bring to screenings
