Events in Sitges in June 2026

• Corpus Christi (variable date, first weeks of June): the historic centre of Sitges is covered in elaborate floral carpets made by local residents. The streets of Sant Pau, Parellades and around the Church of Sant Bartomeu are lined with flower and plant tapestries. Free entry, highly recommended.

Best beaches in Sitges in June

With 26 beaches and 17 km of coastline, June is ideal for making the most of them without the crowds:

• Playa de la Ribera: the most central, right on the seafront promenade. Blue flag, lifeguards and sunbed rental (€10-12/day). In June there's still room to set up without arriving at dawn.
• Playa de l'Home Mort: Catalonia's most famous gay nudist cove, southwest of the centre. During Gay Pride week, the atmosphere is especially vibrant.
• Playa de la Balmins: mixed nudist-textile cove between rocks. Crystal-clear water and less crowded than in August.
• Terramar beaches (Aiguadolç, Les Anquines): spacious and peaceful, ideal for families and those seeking tranquillity.

The sea in June hovers around 21-22°C — perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. Underwater visibility in the southern coves is excellent for snorkelling.

Prices and accommodation in June

June is pre-high season: seafront hotels range from €80-180/night — compared to €120-250 in July and August. Apartments and guesthouses in the old town drop to €60-120. How to get to Sitges
